With 2.1 my sound is gone...

Hey,

I upgraded with pwnage from 2.0.2 to 2.1.
I don't know if it was immediately after I did that upgrade or
perhaps after I loaded new things on my iPhone via Cydia.
But now I mentioned that (the sound is switched on) my iPhone stays silent when I get an SMS, Call...
Does anyone has that problem as well? Any solutions yet?
Thanks!

Yeah, I believe you!
I will pwnage it again.
I still have my custom FW at home, should I restore with that one again? Do I have to restore before? Or should I try a new custom FW as mine isn't working properly at the moment? On my custom FW I just put Cydia on it, no installer... but that probably shouldn't be the problem!

Ok, I will do so. My wife used the same custom fw and has the same problem so... new custom fw!
Thanks Sunday Duffer!

One last question about that... will I have to do a restore of my iPhone (clicking the 2 buttons) before I use the custom FW with iTunes or should I just connect the iPhone via USB and choose the new custom FW? (I hope you understand my question? )

DFU mode?

Try the normal route first...press shift + restore..and let it runs...if it gives you an error...then try it again in DFU mode. Good luck.

Wow, that was an easy one, thanks jjbusa!
In fact... a little pity... because I wanted to put a new boot logo on it, if I had to pwnage again, but as it is working now, I will keep it like it is. Once again: THANKS!
