2.2 .ipsw file?

Is there one released yet? I haven't been paying attention for a while, but last time i checked nobody had released a v2.2 .ipsw file for winpwn.

If there is one, would someone mind linking me to a download?

plug the phone in iTunes and it will prompt you the download of the latest fw..which is 2.1.

Ok I downloaded the 2.1 firmware. Now what program will allow me to edit it? I downloaded the new winpwn 2.5 beta and it say it will only do 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2. None of these are 2.2.

Will the old version of winpwn do it?

Winpwn 3.0 hasn't been released yet. This is the Windows version that will enable you to create a custom 2.1 firmware. Until then, you might want to go to

Then, you can use iTunes 8.0 and install the new 2.1. After you have done this, install Quickpwn and run it. Then you can go on about your business with your jailbroken iPhone.
