Quickpwn on 1st gen

I have a 1st gen running 2.1.
I would have two questions:
1,I was trying to Unlock and jailbreak with Pwnage Tool 2.0.3 but it cannot find the IPSW. for it.
2,So i used QuickPwn but i am not sure if it also unlocks the phone?

update:

i had to manually upgrade to Pwnage 2.1.
So it seems like i figured it out.....
