So i installed custom firmware 2.1 with pwnage and now everytime i connect my iphone itunes says:
iTunes could not backup the iphone because it disconnected.

Anybody else having this problem? i can sync no problem but i can't back up....

That happened to me once -- was a permissions problem in my case. Install Bossprefs and tell it to do a permissions repair... see if that fixes it. No guarantees but worked for me and easy enough to try!

did you install the cracked mobileinstallation? I did then I had your problem. I just renamed the cracked one, then just put in original one. Whenever I need to install cracked apps, I'll just rename it again. So far its working fine, didnt need to reset any permissions

There is a new updated 2.1 mobileinstallation file that will allow for you to backup correctly

where? would you mind linking me to it? does it also allow the installation of cracked apps?

bump, i have this issue, any one have the correct file that solves the problem? or where can i get it?
