2.1 Custom Firmwares Here..

i currently have a 2.1 custom FW for the non AT&T 2G iphone.. created by the 2.1 PWNAGE tool.. and i am currently making an AT&T friendly 1..

aprox. 40 minutes remaining to load on send space..

if you have the firmwares loaded post em!!..

30 minutes remaining.. AT&T FW already made..

so it seems that iTunes is the problem.. i just QuickPwn'd around iTunes and it almost seemed too easy!.. thanks to every..

well according to him its non AT&T and its for the 2g. I added the linkin my previous post. But he seems to be having a problem, here check out his post http://www.modmyi.com/forums/news/34...patible-7.html are you having the same problem? and can it be firmware related?

I think he just forgot to enter the APN name. I'll try his first, if his fails, I'll download Grips one. Btw grip, you can also upload it to megaupload.com, it has much faster uploads.

Stupid Question: In itunes 8 do i still restore with Shift+Restore? When i do that, it doesnt ask for the ipsw file anymore, it asks directly to confirm the restore or cancel.

Yes. KI had some issues in windows where shift+restore wouldn't do anything unless I hit shift+restore, kept the mouse button down, dragged the mouse just off the button and THEN let got of the mouse. After that it seemed to work ok for me.

The biggest issue I see here is labeling. You guys need to label your files. Now that there are two different firmwares (one for 2G and one fro 3G) it needs to be crystal clear which firmware people are getting (and apple does not make it clear in the name of the file)
