Yup. Just QuickPwn. I tried to go through it last night, but QuickPwn 2.1 won't work for me. Gives me a 'app can't initialize 0x000000013'

They both are available via bit torrent from the Dev's blog. It looks like after the torrent is distributed to lighten the load, the team will release a direct download and sparkle update.

The real question is, they have indicated that they figured out a way around itunes 8 issue with pwned ipsw files. So does that mean we can continue with the existing process of:

-create custom firmware package
-put device in DFU mode
-option+restore via itunes

Guess we will find out soon!

A minute ago, I read a German article to Pwnage 2.1
This tool will handle the Unlock, Jailbreak as Pwnage 2.0.2 did it before.
Cydia & Installer Beta will be on the iPhone again and to use with iTunes 8.0.

This is the way is did mine.

Jailbreak iPhone 2.1 | QuickPWN

Pretty simlar to the link you posted, just a few differant programs..

Been sshing around adding and changing bits and bobs all day... all is good.

All i good on my old 2g beast.
