    Default Please help! Cant jailbreak a 3g 2.0.2

    I can't Winpwn my 3g. 2.0.2

    I ran it through the winpawn, synced it back up to itunes and nothing happened. Am I missing a step here?

    p.s.- I set it up as a new phone as well. I just restores back to normal... HELP!

    After winpwn creates the custom firmware you have to restore in DFU mode to the firmware it built. When building the firmware be sure and select the options for Cydia and Installer. Your other option is to use Quickpwn.

    i think you can only quickpwn an already updated 2.02 iphone....try selecting the option to quickpwn instead of winpwn.......i understand that what the quickpwn option does is jailbreak and installs installer and Cydia on a 3g iphone.

    I Did it! For users who already have the latest ISW, use the quick pwn. I didn't get installer though. I am not too concerned about it, it looks like cydia has come a long way since I had it on my 2g.
