Phone Crashing after jailbreaking 2G & 3G iPhones

Is anyone else having a problem after jailbreaking either their 2G or 3G iPhone to 2.0.2?

Both of mine crash trying to open the phone (every time); it does not allow me to make outgoing calls through the regular phone method. Instead, I have to open just the Contacts. And even then, in order to hang up while in a call, I generally have to turn off the phone completely and turn it back on.

I had this issue on the 2G with 2.0, 2.0.1, and 2.0.2, and with the 3G version 2.0.2 after it's been jailbroken using both the Windows and Mac version of the programs.

Everything else works great on both phones.

Any suggestions

i am having the same issue.. once jailbroken the call ICON disappears and if i open up the dialer to make a call it freezes and then exits back to the main screen

I had the same issues with my phone app on my phone. The phone would open then just crash before it fully loaded. But i could make calls from contact list. My issues that was caused by a program called Kate.

Go to Settings > scroll down to Rip Dev > RiP Dev Products > Kate > then uncheck SmartDialer. Then apply then restart Springboard.

This worked on my phone. Let me know if it helps.
