After I unlocked phone everything worked great...new themes etc. I also added SSH to try to add themes...now the phone icon does not work...only the keypad comes up. also when i get a call i can not pull up the in call screen. only springboard comes up. Help please...

Same thing also happened to me...
I fixed the problem (fixed??, i dunno about that, maybe averted) by rebooting my phone from Powertool in Bossprefs...
that was a few days ago and since then, i have been making and receiving calls, so i would recommend trying it.

phone icon not working after jailbreak Help!
