    Default Restoring from Custom ipsw???

My phone is acting up and I want to do a restore. I'm using a Jailbroken 2g, 2.01 phone. The phone was unlocked/jailbroken using the pwnage tool.

My question is can I just do a restore and manually choose the custom ipsw that I created when I cracked the 2.01 three weeks ago, or do I need to do a fresh pwnage?

    Thanks

    Daniel

Just option+click restore and choose your custom firmware and restore. you don't need to pwn your phone again.

i would recommend doing a fresh pwnage by getting fresh copies of the latest firmware. main part of pwning ur phone is DFU mode...a lot of ppl get it wrong all the time. the easiest way to enter DFU mode is by holding the home and the power button at the same time for 10 seconds. after 10 seconds let go of the power button the remain holding the home button. if done correctly ur screen should be blank.
