if i unlock a iphone 3g under 2.0.1 can i use the plan i use under my first gen iphone.i have a $20 plan on my first gen iphone and i don't want to pay extra on the data plan on this iphone 3g......
so i was thinking about unlocking the iphone 3g and useing the sim i have on my first gen iphone in this iphone 3g...so would it work.
The iPhone 3G can not be unlocked yet with Software. There ae however some hardware solutions that are supposed to work. I have not tested any of them.
So it all comes down to one question. If you have a legit SIM card you can use it in the iPhone 3G, otherwise not.
