Alright I've been on vacation for a while, when I got back all these firmware updates and new winpwns came out while I still have a jailbroken 2.0 iphone 3g. What I'm wondering is what is the easiest way to get the new firmware jailbroken for my phone? Should I just download the new ipsw? Do I need to get winpwn 2.0.0.4 (I think that's the newest)? Some specific details on doing this would be much appreciated
If you want to go from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 then you need to download the 2.0.1 ipsw from the MMi download section and download the new 2.0.0.4 winpwn program (be sure to uninstall the previous version first). Then create a new custom 2.0.1 ipsw file and DFU restore in iTunes.
