3G and 2.0 no service

I am trying to unlock and jailbreak a 3G with pwnage 2.0.1. I am using the 3G 2.0 software and I keep getting no signal. It works fine on my 1st gen phone, but not the 3G!?

If you have your service through AT&T, then you need to make sure that when you create your costume firmware version, that you leave actiavate UNCHECKED. If you check that, your service will not work with AT&T.

You may have to flash your phone back to the stock apple firmware first, before retrying your new costume firmware. For whatever reason, I had to do that.
