i dont know, all i did was create the custom firmware then threw my phone in dfu mode and restored to the custom firmware in itunes

I am getting an error when i try to browse for ipsw. It says unknown file iPhone1,2_2.0.1_5B108_Restore

when i did it on a 3g iphone that was already on non jailbroken 2.0.1 i did not get any error 6 or any other error. However im noticing that several times when im trying to make a phone call , it says " call failed" anyone else having similar issue with phone, like losing service?

so if your 3g is already winpwn'd, do you need to go into DFU mode or just shift restore the new custom firmware that i just made?

if i want to upgrade to 2.0.1 from a jailbroken 1.1.3, do i use the latest version of winpwn which is 2.0.0.4 and then build a custom firmware? if so can someone direct me to the link for the process? thanks in advance

Just worked on my ATT 3G iPhone. Make sure you do not check the activation or youtube activation boxes. Worked on first try fine! Although I hate the 1+ hour restore from backup!

Download 2.0.1 again (download only-no install)- through iTunes and use that one. That's what worked for me - I was getting the same message as you.
