Quick question regarding ipwnage restore.
Ive already jailbroken my 3g iphone on my mac. i installed some theme and it some how screwed up my phone. so i installed the original backup theme from customize and that screwed my phone even more. system sounds dont work, my phone doesnt ring, texts dont show...long list of crap.
now here is my question: can i just restore from itunes using my custom firmware i made from pwnage? or do i have to go through the whole jailbreak process again?

Nope, just restore using your custom image.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

seems to have worked. the only thing that is weird is that i installed the "make it mine" app, and the carrier text that i had before the restore is still on there. it makes me think that all the apps that i installed via cydia are still installed but not showing up in the manage tab. any ideas?Last edited by Batson; 08-05-2008 at 03:27 PM.
