ON MAC (you need windows to coverte the images)
*Download Pwnage Tool 1.* (if you don't have it)
*Right Click>Show Package Contents
*Navigate to /Contents/Resources/iPwner/
*Copy logo.img2 and recovery.img2 to an usb drive or else.
*Download FT.exe (Firmware Tool)
*Unrar it in you usb drive (the one where the .img2 are)
*Start>run>cmd.exe
*Navigate into your usb. (typing the letter. i.e E: enter)
*Copy your custom image into your usb (try that the custom pictures are less than 80kb cuz whe you converte them, they'll be larger and the final image cannot be more that 100kb)
*go to the command prompt and type:*when complete procede with the recovery one:Code:ft.exe logo.img2 yourcustomlogo.png whateverbutlogo.img2
*plug your usb driver on your mac and navigate again to /Contents/Resources/iPwner/ (after Show Package Contents of Pwnage Tool 1.*) and throw away the logo.img2 and the recovery.img2 (don't trash them maybe you need it later)Code:ft.exe recovery.img2 yourcustomrecovery.png whateverbutrecovery.img2
*copy your whateverbutrecovery.img2 and whateverbutlogo.img2 and erase the "whateverbut" part of the both files names. (I mean that you finally need to rename your custom img2s to logo.img2 and recovery.img2)
*Put your iPhone into recovery mode (at this step i'm assuming you know how to do that)
*PwnageTool 1.*
*Select Firmware
*Click iPwner (re-pwn your iPhone if you already pwned it)
*Done!
ON WINDOWS
*Open WinPwn 2.*
*Select 1.1.4 ipsw firmware (important, the 2.0 one wwon't let you update logos)
*Click Custom Logos
*Select you custom logo and recovery (less that 80kb again for the convertion, sometimes you have a 95kb image but after convertion the final size is 114kb or something like that)
*Click Update Logos.
*Wait for the process to finish
*DoneLast edited by GHOSTYAIRO; 08-03-2008 at 05:01 PM.
