2 Simple Pwnage 2.0 Questions?

I am running iPhone 1st Gen, with firmware 1.0.2.

Question 1. Do I need to be on 1.1.4 to use pwnage 2.0 so that I can have firmware 2.0?

Question 2. Do I need to put the Cydia package while using pwnage 2.0 to unlock/jailbreak my iPhone. I do not care for 3rd party apps that aren't through the official app store, so is it necessary to the unlock/jailbreak?

If you dont want to unlock or jailbreak why would you even use pwnage and not just upgrade using itunes?

I've got the same questions, needs as you.

I'm a T-Mob user and can probably be very happy with a "stock" unlocked iPhone. I want the App Store and to be unlocked. But I could do without the custom logos and installer/Cydia stuff.

I've seen mention that you can do this pretty much from any firmware to begin with. I'm still at 1.1.3 myself. planning on trying this tonight.
