Can I allow sounds while blocking popup window?

I currently have my phone set to where the popups are blocked with Popup Blocker while my phone is unlocked. I also have Lockinfo put icons on my statusbar whenever I receive push notifications. When I receive a new push notification from an app LockInfo puts the icon on the status bar like it is supposed to but there is no sound alerting my that I have a new notification. Is it possible to block the popup window but allow the notification sound?
