Im new to MMi but i thought I would just start off by saying that I am extremely Pleased with the way I jailbreaked my iPhone.
I am running iOS 5.1.1 and I have successfully Jailbreaked it, I completed this about 2 days ago I had tried various other options but they were only tethered jailbreaks I am not sure if many of you have done this but i thought i would post anyways
The program used was Absinthe 2.0.1 and it was a really quick process and i hope this helps those of you that are trying to jailbreak iPhone 4 5.1.1

Nope, clicked as normal, it opened, detected my phone and started. Phone had the spinning wheel at the top indicating something was happening, or so I thought.

This what iTunes says.
Errors 2000-2009 (from Apple support): If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software.

Or try absinthe or snowbreeze

So finally I got my iPhone 4 jailbroken with Absinthe, with some issues along the way. First attempt with win7 failed as mentioned previously. Second attempt with XP worked OK.
The issues I had with both at some stage were that my phone wasn't detected by Tinyumbrella OR Absinthe (first try with XP).
I ended up upgrading Java, and installing a new version of iTunes. Then complete iTunes restore of my phone, during which they sneaked in 9B208 (was 9B206)
Now in the process of reinstalling my apps and a few JB apps..... am I right in saying QuickReply for SMS is not 5.1.1 compatible?
