What are the advantages/disadvantages to tethered/untethered? Why does tethered suck?

With tethered you have to connect to a computer every time you reboot or every time you completely power of like a battery drain.

Ok Snowbreeze issue. I installed and followed instructions to the letter. All went well no issues til I get to iTunes at the end. Hit Shift+Restore and select the Snowbreeze custom build. iTunes gives me an "software not compatible" message. Anyone else have and or fix this issue, or am I the only one again?? Anyone

version 2.5 is out now and it's UNtethered. I just did it and it worked fine.
