Problem sn0wbreeze greenpois0n

hello all,

I have an Iphone 3GS, it was on FW 3.1.3 jailbreaked using snowbreeze and unlocked.

when the new snowbreeze 2.2 is released, i upgrade to FW 4.2.1 using the custom firmware built by snowbreeze to jailbreak and hactivate. an "error 29" had occurred at itunes and my phone stucked on the recovery mode.

i tried tinyumbrella and recboot to exit but it still in recovery mode.

after that i tried to run greenpois0n rc6.1 jailbreak. it worked and i exit the recovery mode and my iphone is activated but every 3-4 minutes, it crashed and show the apple logo for 2 or 3 min and it restarts again.

Can any body helps me plz ?

Note: "i dont have the original sim card so i need activation"

i cant figure what error 29 is, but when i restored 3.1.3 FW from a month, same error occured and the iphone entered recovery mode but easily i exit it using tinyumbrella and it worked perfectly.

but then i was stuked in the recovery mode. TU cant exit it from recovery, i used olso ireb and recboot, same thing. the only way that i exit the recovery is by jailbreaking by greenpois0n but the problem above occured.

so can i jailbreak using redsn0w, and i have some questions :

* does redsn0w preserve my baseband?

* how i can jailbreak with it if iam using a custom FW from snowbreeze that is not jailbroken?

* does it jailbreak my iphone when iam stucked in the recovery mode as greenpois0n ?

redsnow wont get you out of recovery.

Try making a custom 4.1 firmware instead.

i tried to restore using a CFW for 4.1 by entering dfu mode using ireb and tinyumbrella for shsh but it gives error 1646 before restoring.

i tried to restore in recovery mode using tinyumbrella but it gives error 1604 before restoring.

knowing that tinyumbrella saved my 4.1 shsh.

Try using redsnow to enter pwned dfu instead of ireb

what version of snowbreeze are you using to make the 4.1 firmware?

it worked and iam now on 4.1, but "error 29" occured and i exit it by tiny umbrella and it worked but iam encoutring same problem as above. iphone restarts every 3 min. do you think that it is hardware problem? battery maybe?

but it was working good in 3.1.3.

Sounds like it could be hardware related

Try going to a regular 4.0 firmware to see if you still have the issue.

i don't have shsh for 4.0, only for 4.1 and 4.2.1

Oh, so you can't even go back to 3.1.3 then. You may want to try getting hold of a pwnage tool made custom firmware and try that.

Doesnt the sn0wbreeze 2.2 hacktivate & jailbreak all on its own..? Why are you using greenpois0n to rejailbreak..?

i dont have a mac, only windows. and i dont know any body here have a mac.

it seems that i would take it to one who repairs iphones to try using new battery.

yes it is, but i couldnt exit recovery mode, so i tried greenpois0n and it worked to exit.

Recboot worked wonders for me having to get out of DFU mode.

Just google for a pwnage tool made custom firmware. You dont need a mac once you have that.
