Greenpoison DFU mode fail ?

Anyone else having Greenpoison not being able to recognize DFU mode so you can do the JB? I have tried countless times...

Just the way I do it but for some reason GP isn't picking up on the DFU mode and starting the JB...

Try holding the home key until after the JB process starts. I had to do this with "rc6.1

Tried that but it never starts the JB...

Got an iPhone 4 now but reluctant to try the JB as I never could get it to work again on my 3G.

Greenpoison doesn't work on iPhone 3G. Use redsnow 0.9.6rc8 for that.

When I tried GP on a friend's iPad the other day, I sat there with my finger on that button for about 45 minutes. Didn't work. After three hours and numerous tries I gave up. It would never get past the greenpoison initialized part.

Seems like a comon issue...maybe a fix or something will come out soon.

I just installed it on my iPad running 4.2.1 with my win7 OS.
first attempt didn't work, but that's because win7 was looking for drivers on windows update.

it was searching for drivers for Apple DFU mode plus another afterward

after cancelling that driver check, it installed the drivers and my next attempt was succesful.

Although, the greenpois0n logo doesn't show when i reset or power on my iPad, it IS Jailbroken and now has cydia on there
