    Post Recovery Loop Iphone 4

    Today I restored my iphone 4 to 4.2.1 from 4.1. I used tinyumbrella to preserve my baseband and everything was going well. However, after it was done, I used tinyumbrella to get out of recovery but I am still stuck. Any solutions? I tried iReb, iRecovery, and tinyumbrealla. THANKS!

    Jailbreak right over it with Greenpois0n. It should be fine. Mine did the same thing.

    Yeah I have AT&T so my SIM activated it. I'm not sure how to do this when you don't have a SIM. try running redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 on it and put Cydia on. When you get to your springboard, you will have the loader app on it. Might want to delete that and try running Greenpois0n right over it again. Then it should be untethered.

    Default stuck on apple loop logo after an update on cydia

    iphone 4,
    firmware= 4.0.1
    macbook

    as stated in the title, i had upgraded on cydia a few items and then following the reboot which was required by cydia it became stuck on the apple boot logo,
    i have read several methods for solving this solution
    -using a fresh /sbin file
    -restore using shsh blobs
    -tinyumbrella shsh
    i have been able to get the resotore to the 1004 error and then kicking it out of recovery successfully and able to load cydia both with jailbreakme.com and lime rain. although almost all of the apps load successfully from cydia except a few which causes it to go back into this boot loop.

    this also happened to my brothers iphone 3gs with the same problem on 4.01. with jailbreakme.com

    i have spent a few weeks researching but the above ideas have been the only suggestions i have found on several forums.
    any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your time
    shagg

    i had the same problem! itunes would not complete restore process and tiny umbrella would not kick device out of recovery. so I simply ran greenposi0n and it kicked the device out and i was able to allow itunes to complete the activation process and everything is gravy!
