    Default Ultrasn0w 1.2 problems
    Hi All,

I have a 3G 16GB recently updated to ios 4.1. Rather carelessly updated the basedband to 06.15.00...I have read however that the new version of ultrasn0w 1.2, can unlock this configuration.

I have managed to jailbreak with Redsn0w which went fine, i am adding ultrasn0w 1.2 using cyder, as the wifi on my phone doesnt work...

When i reboot and go into Cydia, i can see ultrasn0w in the list of installed apps, it has a green tick by the side, but is highlighted in PINK...It is the only app highlighted. When i go into the details, i notice PACKAGE QUEUE - Remove. I cannot get it to unlock at all.

I tried installing a game through the same process to eliminate issues with Cyder / Cydia, but that working fine...

Please help as im really lost without my phone!!!!!

If it says something like it is missing dependancies you need to make sure the latest mobilesubstrate is installed also. Otherwise ultrasnow wont work.

Hey guys. I have the same exact problem. Ultrasn0w 1.2 is installed in my iphone 3g through cyder, and I was trying to do as above, but as I'm new at this, I wonder how I can install mobilesubstrate in my iphone. Is it a package I can download from cyder? If so from what repo source?

Your help would be much appreciated!

    THANKS

well then do you know how to download it at all? I heard it's a deb file and you've got to install it through some program. DO you know how to get mobilesubstrate in my iphone?

Try refreshing the sources in cyder (make sure you have cyder 2) and then installing it just like you did ultrasnow.

    1. Open Cydia
    2. Click Manage, then Settings and change who you are to "Developer".
    3. Now, click on Search and enter 'Mobile Substrate' and install it.

He's talking about using Cyder. Not cydia.
