upgrading to 4.2 limerain

i phone 4 jailbroken with limerain.. how do i back up all my themes.etc purchased cydia apps upgrade, and restore?

Either AptBackup or PkgBackup
PkgBackup saves it as a contact and is said to be more reliable since it does it that way

You should also go get AppBackup for app game saves

Be sure to open and click backup inside the apps

i have tom tom and cydia apps PKGback up will restore my phone to the way it is now after i update and jailbreak again?

It should and AppBackup should work for TomTom

Appbackup will save login info, game saves, and everything app related that iTunes should be backing up but isn't

AppBackup and AptBackup get backed up when you tell iTunes to backup

PKGbackup backs up as a contact therefor it works even if you have to restore as a new phone and not from a backup

Limera1n is an alternative unlocker to redsn0w, right? I haven't been able to get the new *sn0w to fully run on my 3GS, so I'm hoping the next limera1n will do it. Pretty sure it's what I used last time.
