iTunes upgrade after JB?

I am still a relative noob to JBing and can't seem to find a definitive answer to this so thought I would ask the gurus here.

I have already successfully jail broken my 2G iPhone with Spirit and want to know if I can now update to iTunes 9.2 without harm to the jail break?

Why do I want to update? Because I also have an iPad (un-jailbroken) that I would like to update to 3.2.1 and have no intentions of jail breaking it in the foreseeable future.

If you update it will not affect your jailbreak. If you have to re-jailbreak you will need an unofficially updated version of spirit only available for windows here for the jailbreak to work.
