Spirit with iTunes 9.2

Hi,

I'm about to JB an old bootrom 3GS on stock 3.1.3 with Spirit. I understand I can't use version 9.2 of iTunes with this jailbreak. Does that mean that even when it's JB I need to stick to an old version of iTunes or just for the JB process?

Just for the jailbreak process. Once jailbroken itunes 9.2 is fine to use.
