    Default Jailbreak Confusion

    I'm not sure which jailbreak(s) to use to jailbreak an iPod Touch (3G, 8GB). I;ve hear about several-blackra1n, blacksn0w, redsn0w, yellowsn0w, etc. However, I'm not sure which ones are for iPhones and which are for iPods. Can you please tell me which jailbreaks are for iPod Touches and work with 3G, 8GB?

    Can you also tell me the firmware? I don't know what firmware I have but I think 3.1.2. Is there a way I can check?

    Also-Can I jailbreak my iPod Touch with several jailbreak methods? For example using blackra1n AND blacksn0w? Please help!

    ipod 3g you use blackra1n. dont worry about the firmware. but it is a tethered jailbreak so you must be at a computer to boot your ipod in that state
