Master Reset and now phone is frozen. Was j/b w/ blackr4in
I used blackr4in to jailbreak my phone months ago and after i switched out my iphone for a new phone i sold it yesterday and figured ill do the master delete so it wipes my phone completely.
It wiped it but now when it tries to reload, the black screen with the apple logo is there, and the circle icon that shows its working froze.
I tried to connect it to my pc to do a restore on the phone and it won't even recognize the phone anymore, and when I connect to charge it won't recognize anymore. What is the issue here, anything I can do or did I just brick my phone?
Please help me, I just sold it and now it's going to be an unfaithful sale.
I did the above process and was able to get my phone back to restore mode but now when trying to restore with Redsnow it hangs at the pineapple screen about 3/4's of the way through activation. I also tried to restore it using iTunes and 3.0 but when it contacted Apple it said my phone wasn't eligible to be restored using that software. Any ideas on where to go from here?
The reason that I didn't want to restore was that I read a warning like this on several websites, "Note: Do not update your iPhone to OS 3.1.2 yet if it is jailbroken or unlocked on firmware 3.1. Wait for the new jailbreaking and unlocking tools before updating your device or you may loose the capability to jailbreak or unlock your device in the future. You have been warned!" Mine was jailbroken on 3.0 and all I want to do is to restore it to 3.0 so I can jailbreak it again and have it just like it was. If I update it to 3.1.2 can I still jailbreak it and have it work like before?
