Neverending Safe Mode

I'm in the process of retoring my phone but thought I see if anyone else had the same issue. I have a 3g iphone with 3.1.2 update(which was done a few weeks ago) and jailbreak blackra1n. I have a list of addon apps and mobile sub.(im a newbie so I dont know that much about it). I just did the Rock app update that was prompted by the app. other than that no new jailbreak addons or updates.

The issue is that it went into safe mode do to springboard crashing and I needed to do a soft restart or respring springboard. I've done this before with no issues to speak of. But apparently this time is won't work, I select restart on the phone it begins a soft restart and works as intended. Except when it comes out of the restart it says its in safe mode I have done this a hundred times it feels like with not solving the issue.

So Im doing a retore to see if that works then rejailbreak. I did a little research on here for a simailar issue but didnt find any so thought I post

I restored then rejailbroke the phone cydia rock app stores added. found and added apptbackup started restore than crash here we go again. So if noones got any Ideas guess I try doing it again than found all the app or addon manual. So much for any easy backup. Wonder what is causing this to happen?

Restored again and crashed after sbs settings install this time i didnt instal cydia due to reading on here that there was some kinda issue. this is really pi$$in me off I love having the jailbreak and now I cant do it without having a crash occur.

Hope someone has a clue to why this is happen.

DFU restore and install cydia only. The cydia issue is gone.

Ill try the DFU restore install cydia only. ANd post the results. Is There something wrong with ROCK app store?

Rock is a fine installer. Install it from cydia if you want to use it

Ok did the DFU restore twice now then jailbroke the phone with blackra1n get a few of the apps and addons back on the phone then crash again. At a loss to found out why this is now become a issue phone worked fine for 3mths jailbroke to now only crash a few mins into a break. Really makes the iphone seem not worthy to be a phone without the customization that jailbreaking gives.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using the manage extensions on ROCK APP store I started turning off the following extensions to see what happened.

Libhide

preferenceloader

Sbsettings

Uihook-ikeyex3

winterboard

As I turned them back on i found that Uihook-ikeyex3 would cause the phone to go into safe mode. So i have left it off for now to see if the issue arises again or if the issue lies there.
