    Default Blackra1n rc1 to rc3 on iPhone 2g

I upgrade to 3.1.2 the day blackra1n came out and no problems on my 2g. Now with the unlock available and baseband stuff should i re-jailbreak with the newest blackra1n that came out 11/3? I have no use in unlocking the phone but curious if having the newest baseband increases the effectivness of my phone. If so I'll re-jailbreak.

okay i just jb using blackra1n rc3 where i previously used rc1. Nothing changed, not the modem FW or anything. Oh well

You have the iPhone 2g; your baseband hasn't been updated recently and you've been able to fully unlock with boot neuter.. since.. forever now. If everything is working fine on 3.1.2, no need to do anything. blackra1n rc3 does nothing for ya.

So 3.1.2, for 2g does not update the baseband ?
