Problem With Blackra1n When I restart Ipod Touch 2nd Gen Plz Help

Ok I have a 8gb 2nd Gen Ipod touch running 3.1.2, for the past day I've been trying to use Blackra1n to jailbreak it. When I use the application everything goes fine, and once its done i go into my apps and I see the Blackra1n app there, but once I turn my ipod completely off then back on it boots in recovery mode ( with the itunes logo and usb cable )after which I would have to restore back to 3.1.2 using Itunes then trying again. I've tried many things such as deleting all processes associated with itunes, leaving them on sometimes, I've also tried placing blackrain.exe on my c drive but still no luck it does the same thing everytime. Any ideas or fixes as to how I can successfully jailbreak my ipod touch?

This is a 2nd gen Touch? You sure its not a 3rd gen? And are you using Blackra1n RC3 (not RC1 or RC2)?

If it's a 3rd gen, its because you have a device that only can be JB'd with the tethered JB. This means it must be re-JB'd everytime you reboot (need to be connected to a PC and run Blackra1n every time you reboot).

If you are using Blackra1n RC2, re-download Blackra1n from blackra1n.com.
