Can you control the iphone OS in a restore?
I'm sure this is a simple question, but I have a 16gb 3G, OS 3.0.1 that I jailbroke/unlocked using redsn0w.
I reset it in the settings pane on the iphone (erase all content and settings).
Now it gets stuck on the apple logo screen on restart. I want to restore it in itunes, but when I put it in DFU mode and then go to restore it wants to restore and upgrade to 3.1 which I don't want to do. Is there a way to restore through iTunes without upgrading to the latest iPhone OS?
THANKS!
