Iphone 3GS 16GB Frooze at Apple Logo Screen Please Help.

So basically i have a 3gs - but it would not let me restore it no matter what. Keeps popping up error 23

So i tried to reset it via Iphone Full reset option on the phone - it does it thing and now it just stays at the Apple Logo Screen - after a lil while 5min or so it show the rotating bars and freeze

I tried everything
- Restore From recovery mode from itunes
- DFU mode - load firmware iphone goes bright white screen then error 23
- Even tried updating 3.1 firmware and still no go - same error - unknown error (23)

Is there anything else i can do?
Taking it to apple store is my last resort since i thought i had to take out of sim tray when restoring and now i lost it -.- think my dog found a new chew toy lol

I heard you can get the serial number from Apple System Profiler - but i don't have a mac sadly

Just go to the A-store. You will get a replacment - A Brand New One!
