IF IT'S NOT WORKING YOU'RE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. GO BACK AND RE-DO IT AGAIN.



Since ultrasn0w has been down and I personally myself cant install ultrasn0w from cydia and they arent doing anything about it here is how you can do it manually.

Here is the ULTRASN0W.deb file inastallation so you can install it manually following these instructions.

SSH into your iPhone and copy ultrasn0w.deb file into VAR/TEMP on you iphone.

Open terminal window in the SSH not mobile terminal and copy paste dpkg -i /tmp/ultrasn0w.deb click execute.

After it's done it should look something like this.




After it installs it, reboot your iphone and enjoy unlocked iphone. T-Mobile users Turn off 3G in Network.

copy deb file into var, temp, after that open TERMINAL WINDOW IN THE SSH, and paste the dpkg -i /tmp/ultrasn0w.deb. you're doing something wrong, find out where you went wrong.i posted pictures of what i did those are pictures of my computer and my iphone 3.0.1

Do you know how to SSH into your iphone? since you're new to all this. If you don't YouTube has good videos. I cant help you with that.

From c---users-jessica--documents am guessing you saved file into my documents the ultrasn0w.deb file. check the picture out. you need winscp because you dont have it. go to download.com and type in the search box winscp, download WIN SCP AND INSTALL IT. AFTER THAT go to cydia and install automatic SSH and SSH TOGGLE and open toggle after download is complete and press enable. go on your desktop and run win scp. the main page asks your ur ip address. go to your iphone SETTING, WIFI, AND LITTLE ARROW ON THE NAME WIFI NAME UR CONNECTED ON LOOK UP UR IP ADDRESS AND TYPR IN IN THE WINSCP. for user name type root, password alpine. and at the bottom scroll box select SCP and press save. now log into your iphone and THATS IS HOW YOU SSH INTO YOUR IPHONE SINCE YOUR NEW. FOR MORE INFO GO TO YOUTUBE THEY HAVE IT DETAILED.

I want to help others but damn cant teach them everything and you're right if they dont know how to ssh they shouldnt even to this, but i want them to have their phone because it sucked not having phone for me tonight for 30mins lol.so i try the fastest way possible youtube has great tuto's.

well when i first learned to SSH
I read about it on iClarified
they had like the simplest tutorial ever
but yeah i know how you feel bout that 30 minutes
I didnt have my phone for a bit longer than that

Im not 100% sure of this
but when I did it
It came up as 6

so all the repos are back up
just woke up and checked
yellowsn0w and ultrasn0w are running smooth now
the website is up and running and not scrambled
i hope this doesnt happen again
