purplera1n and the future

OK Some help please

I used purplera1n RC2 and evrything works so no problem there, my question is: Having done this does purplera1n retain the files needed for future jailbreak i.e. iBEC and iBSS or is this ECID etc. or do I still need to DFU and run a grabber program.

Still a bit confused by all this newness

purplera1n itself does not grab your files. You need to do the DFU method to get them
