After 2.2 Jailbreak, Internet connection (3g/Edge) doesn't work

Hi All,

Rookie here, but I searched on the forums and checked the FAQ and there wasn't anything specific to my problem, at least from what I could see.

I jailbroke my 2.2 3g phone yesterday using quickpwn, and everything seemed fine. However, because I was using wifi, I didn't notice that my 3g connection didn't work. I restarted my device, and still didn't work, though I did notice my icons had been re-arranged (grrrr, adding insult to injury).

Anyone else had this problem and figured out what was wrong, short of restoring then re-jailbreaking?

Maybe try resetting your network settings, but when in doubt, just restore...

do u have BossPrefs or sb settings coz ur 3g might be turned off
