Just want to know if anyone has tried iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your 2.x.x 3G iPhone (Mac) [Updated 2.2.1]. They claim you now can unlock your iphone if you have 2.2.1 firmware installed. Is this correct?

Also, I jailbreaked with pwang and unlocked with yellowsnow. Everything works but I can't sync. "Sync iphone" is greyed out. Should I try jailbreaking again and then unlocking? This seems like an easy fix. I just don't know how to do the fix. Thanks.

I can unlock and jailbreak 2 iphones that are on 2.2.1 and I can do nothing with this 8gb are the settings suppose to be changed making the correct custom 2.2.1?
