i purchased iphone in the 2007 and it is running firmware 1.1.4.it is suddenly stopped working and i can see only apple logo on the screen and when i hold the home button and sleep wake wake button for few seconds it gone for a recovery mode.Is there any possibility to restore the device without losing the software version

Yessir. Download the 1.1.4 restore file from somewhere on the internetz and shift+click restore in iTunes to restore to it...

dear sir,iamvery much thankful to you regrding your reply and i have downloaded iphone restoring ipsw file from internet and everything fine now and i shift+restore button on itunes 7.7 and the phone verified and restored 1.1.4 firmware and at last it asked to insert unlocked sim,i have inserted my sim now after few minutes i can see the message on the itunes that ''THE SIM CARD INSERTED IN THIS IPHONE DOES NOT APPEARED TO BE SUPPORTED''.i can only receive calls from my phone and i cannot unlock,pls help me sir...
