I have downloaded the 2.2 firmware a million times, but Quikpwn will not reconize it.Can someone give me a solution? BTW I'm on a Mac.

Does your downloaded restore file have the extent of .ipsw or zip?
If it is zip. change the extent to .ipsw

No its .ispw

but it will reconize on pwnage which I would use if i didn't keep getting the 1600 error

Since you are on a mac, have you tried the pwnage tool 2.2.1 ?

So, you have created a custom restore file with the pwnage tool and then using itunes 8.02, put the phone into DFU mode and did the option click to select the custom restore file and you still get the 1600 error? If you have access to another computer try it.

Already tried it on my old mac and it i didn't work. I'm really tired of this not workin for me so i'm just givn up thank 4 the help
