Default Cannot re-jailbreak my iphone 3g

I attempted to re-jailbreak my phone and that didnt work so i tried reseting my iphone instead and it keeps switching off and on now with the pineapple logo and thats all, it wont even let me restore on itunes nor will it sync on itune either now, i dont know what else to do and i cant remove the jailbreak settings on there because i dont know how.

I then went and tried to create a custom .ipsw but quickpwn wont even detect my iphone so i cant even get into quickpwn now.

can someone please help me and advise me on what i should do next.

    Thanks

Place the phone in DFU mode and then restore. Then start over again.

It wont go into DFU mode and Itunes wont sync with my Iphone 3g so therefore i cant restore it to all the usual settings its just stuck on the jailbreaker symbol.

It'll go into DFU if you do it properly.

Hold both Power and Home (for 10-15 sec) to force-power off.

    DFU:

    1. Itunes open, phone plugged in....phone off.

    2. Hold POWER button for 5 seconds.

    3. WITHOUT letting go of POWER, now hold HOME button for 10 seconds (both held).

    4. Let go of POWER...CONTINUE to hold HOME button until Itunes recognizes phone (about another 10-20 sec).

    5. Restore.
