Iphone Stuck in recovery mode

i have an iphone 2gf which was unlock and jialbroken on 2.2 firmware but all of the sudden some happen to it and it was saying contact apple... so i again restored it to 2.2 after putting on dfu mode and now whenever i get done restoring it... after that it comes up on my screen with an error 1011 ... and it is stuck on recovery mode ... please help me ....

Are you SURE you restored to 2.2? Usually error 1011 or 1015 means you're trying to go back to a previous firmware. I would try pluggin into iTunes again and hit the restore button (not shift+restore). If it STILL gives an error and boots to recovery I would put into DFU then manually kick it into normal mode. They way you do this is after it's in DFU hold power+home for 10 seconds.. let go of both buttons and then press power for 2 seconds.

hey man i done the way u're saying but still whenever i hit restore it after that kicks back to restore and when i try to put it manually to dfu mode .. it doesnt restore firmware .... and also would u know where it would have downloaded 2.2 firmware which i downloaded thru itunes i mean i am on Pc and trying to find the real copy downloaded thru Itunes. .. coulc u tell me where should i lok for it ...

and it stil gives me 1011 error

okay listen POsiden .. i have manage to restored it to 2.0 firmware with help of winpwn .. but only jailbroken .. so do u think if i would just restore to 2.2 would again put me back to same recovery mode ?

now it said repaid needed on 2.0 firmware just jailbroken

Maybe try downloading a custom pre-built 2.2 firmware and restore to that. the baseband on 2.0 and 2.2 are the same so you should be unlocked already.

where would i find custome 2.2 firmware .. if you know the link or if u know here to lok please tell me .... i need this to be working coz i have only an iphone nothing else i have had any ph since last 2 days .... please help me Sir

or either i can have jailbreak too as i have actually At&t service.....

When you mod, you should always have a cheap backup phone. I bought a prepaid Nokia candy bar phone brand new for $20. You can get them at Wal-mart or Best Buy.
