iPhone 2G Jailbroken a/QuickPwn and can't use Phone function

Hey i had the same problem and i did kate also! I am going to restore again and jailbrake. The thing is, I have a Mac and i dont know how to uninstall installer because both are installed after Quickpwn 2.2???

Why do the restore?? just get rid of Kate on the phone and RIPdev and reboot the phone and no more problems!!

Now I've got a whole seperate battery issue that I'm trying to figure out. Seems I can't get half a day from my battery since the weekend. Not sure if it's jailbreak related or not though...

I'm having the same problem. Battery is draining somehow.... Qwickpwn here on my 3G....

Thank you SO much! I went into Installer like you said and uninstalled Kate, Mobile Enhancer and Rip Dev Preferences...rebooted my phone and all the phone functions I lost are back!

I've been searching so many blogs, etc. and finally an answer. I hope it lasts

Hey guys,
To fix that phone problem, you don't have to uninstall everything, ad re jailbreak. Simply go into installer and uninstall mobile enhancer, and restart your phone. Viola! Works great!

that **** works......get rid of that stupid mobile enhancer....all it did was reduce my phone...

I also could not use my dial pad, I followed the instructions that macdaz posted (copied them below)

1- Uninstall Kate from Installer: this is what everyone recommends, seems to work for a lot of people but didn’t work for me.

2- Then go to Installer again and uninstall these apps:

A) Mobile enhancer
B) RIP DEV preferences

3- Reboot your iPhone.

and it works fine now.
