iPhone 2G Running on 2.1

Hey guys! I just wanted to chime in after a VERY Long time to let you know that i still have the same phone. I also updated to 2.1 on my 2G iPhone!

I just wanted to say that the simplest way to do this is to update to 2.1 on iTunes and Restore.

Download QUICKPWN 2.1, and 3.9 and 4.6 bootloaders... (if i remember correctly) from ipodtouched.net

And then quickpwn the phone after restore!

Works perfect!

i guess u r the right person i can ask my questions to... ne ways, now i have the old type of iphone and the version on it is 1.1.1 & i wud like to upgrade it, but unfortunately the last time i tried doin it, i ended up with an iphone tht just wudnt work... but lets forget tht... so what i want from u is to guide me step by step into upgradin this thing... btw i do not have an AT&T sim... i wud really appreciate it, if u can help me...
