1.1.1 jailbreakme.com won't work....

(old)I downgraded a 1.1.2 iphone to 1.1.1 a couple weeks ago and jailbroke it.
now today i tried to install oktoprep and upgrade it but installer jsut kept saying cant find host...
so i tried to restore 1.1.1 again and try it all over and i can connect to wi-fi and then when i hit the http://jailbreakme.com link in my contacts it says safari can't find server.(old)

so it turns out it was not properly connecting to the wireless here so i tried it somewhere else and it worked so i jailbroke it and installed bsd subsystem and oktoprep
then i went into itunes and (option)updated the phone to 1.1.2 and then it goes to the stuck in recovery with the cable connecting to itunes and opening independance won't work and neither will "boot from recovery" in jailbreak.jar
and itunes just keeps saying a phone in recovery nees to be restored...

any suggestions?
