iBrickr hangs
I have an iPhone that somebody bricked. Looks like it was anySIMed then upgraded to 1.1.2. The baseband looks like it's toast. I've been trying to downgrade to 1.0.2. Took the first step by shift-restoring to 1.1.1. No luck from there. Shift restore results in "unknown error (1)." iBrickr confirms I have 1.1.1, but just sits there after I start the downgrade process. I already placed the 1.0.2 firmware in the iBrickr directory and renamed it 1.0.2.ipsw as the instructions say. But when I click downgrade, it just sits there and says, "Downloading, please wait..." Why and what is it downloading? There's no green or red screen on the iPhone. Processors on my PC show activity with occasional disk activity as well. I've let it sit for 30 minutes at a time. What am I doing wrong?

You are Restoring in iBrickr or iTunes?

Tried restoring in iTunes but it refuses to make the downgrade from either 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 to 1.0.2. Tried to make the final downgrade in iBrickr but that's where it hangs. Also tried a direct downgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.0.2 but had the same problem. I've never seen the red or green screen iBrickr says indicates the lack or presence of a problem. All I see is the 1.1 iTunes+cord screen in recovery mode or the activation screen if I exit recovery mode.
