Hi guys,

New to the forum and have been doing a lot of reading, but now have a few questions.

What i want to do is put ringtones on my phone using iBrickr. I've watched a video (hxxp://www.i4u.com/article11028.html) on the process but I need to clarify a few things.

My iphone is a US version unlocked for UK, in the video the process involves "restore".

Do i do this step without the iphone connected, as i don't want to brick the phone and lock it.

Depends what firmware you are using, there's a different process for adding ringtones depending on what version you have.

I think ibrickr would only work for 1.0.2

it works if your jailbroken on 1.1.2 and 1.1.1

Safer to do it through SSH. Use WinSCP to copy the ringtunes over.
