In the iPhone Modding OS X guide, it says right after the jailbreakme dot come part, at the top of page 3, that you should running an activated, jailbroken iPhone. By activated that does not mean you should be able to make calles at this point? Just kind of checking because I get an error later trying to upgrade back to 1.1.2 or whatever.

No it doesnt mean u can make calls it just means that you can use it as an ipod/pda and what eva apps you wanna add to it....

Did you install oktoprep before upgrading back to 1.1.2??

Are you on any of the networks that apple has intended for the phone to work on??
Was this phone bought after Nov 9 2007 and has the bootloader 4.6 installed?/

If your tryna unlock and have 4.6 bootloader then theres no software unlock yet....
