Jailbreakme on a OTB 1.1.2 phone - does it mess it up?

When I got my iPhone last week I wasn't sure what FW that came with it OTB. Now that I've discovered that it is in fact 1.1.2, I ran the jailbreak method described for 1.1.1, before I knew it was 1.1.2. Naturally, it didn't work.

When AT&T is officially a provider here on Dec 9th, and I activate my phone, will it have any ill effects on my phone working properly?

No it will not have any effect on your phone. I am a rep with AT&T and I also have an I phone. An i am 100% sure you will not have any problems
