Problem with ibrickr...please help!!!

Hello modmyi.community,

This is my first post as I search, search, search for answers before posting, and usually the answers are there to be found. However, I have not found any solution to my problem here, nor on any other forums.

I am running 1.1.4 frimware, unlocked via Ziphone. I added the Ziphone ibrickr fix and downloaded the ibrickr program.
My goal was to change the SMS and email notification sounds on my iphone. As I stated, I did my research. I converted the wav file to .aiff in iTunes. Then I renamed the tone to sms-recieved(x).caf.
Through ibrickr I deleted the old tone, and uploaded the new one, in system/library/audio/uisounds. Of course I restarted my phone, but when I select the corresponding file, no sound is audible. I know that I did change[I]something[I] as there is no longer an audible sound. I have tried to reinstall the file a few different times and restarted my phone numerous times with no success. Can anybody help me?
I should mention that I own a windows PC and I do not have a wifi connection, which is why I choose ibrickr over ssh.
If anybody has any suggestions, please help!

P.S. After I hacked into my phone via ibrickr whenever I restert my phone it goes into a strobelike effect for a few seconds. Is this normal?

Thanks for all the help,

CHR!S

UPDATE...

IT WORKED!!!
Apparently when you select the modded tone, it will not play audibly like it normally would when selected. However, when an incoming SMS or email is recieved, it works perfectly!

Just thought I'de let everyone know since nobody had any advice for me...
